I had SO much fun forging this incredible piece. This cicada was a process to create. For the body, I made an organic mold from my solderite board, and filled it with melted (recycled) sterling silver, and then added depth and detail. Each wing is its own mold, then soldered to the body. The band consists of seven hand forged leaves, soldered together, but open on the inside so she's fully adjustable! She is 100% SOLID sterling & fine silver, super comfortable, and fully adjustable!
